Bike Essentials Giveaway

Race Day Biking Essentials + A Giveaway!

Saturday is our first race of the season! We’re doing the Memphis in May Sprint Triathlon. To celebrate, we’re giving away an awesome Bento bike bag full of our favorite race day essentials.

This Bento Box is one of the most handy things to have for race day. It’s hard to carry extra stuff on a long ride, let alone race day and a Bento Box is the new and improved, aerodynamic answer. As you can see it easily mounts behind the headset on the top tube with some velcro straps.

Win this Bento Box and all the cool stuff inside |

Honestly, even though they call it a Bento Box, you’re not going to be able to fit an entire lunch in there. But it is very useful to carry along some of those extra needs, especially easily accessible fuel for while you’re training or racing.

In a triathlon, I use it for fuel because it holds a bunch of Shot Bloks and Clif Bars in an easy to reach location.

And when it comes to every day training, this thing is perfect for toting along all kinds of stuff – it’s almost like a man bag where I can put my keys, money, phone, and there’s still room for a tire inflator.

I can ride with confidence on race day knowing that if I get a flat, I have my spare inner tube, multi-tool and patch kit with me. Triathlon Gear Giveaway:

  • Fuel Belt Bike Bento Box
  • A Multi-Tool
  • 1 Pack of Clif Shot Bloks
  • 2 Clif Shot Gel Packets
  • 1 Packet of Chamois Butt’r
  • TwoTri Water BottleRace Day Biking Essentials + A Giveaway! |

Chamois Butt’r, a tire patch kit, a multi-tool, shot bloks! Now you can see how this month’s triathlon gear giveaway could literally save the day, whether it’s a long or short bike ride.

I just finished my first beginner’s triathlon this past Sunday after training with a group for over 7 weeks. It was an incredible experience and I met so many wonderful women (it was a women’s only program). Our race was un-timed – the purpose was just to get your feet wet and go through the event without the stress of having that clock ticking in your head. Everyone received medals and high fives and hugs afterwards. Fantastic day!

Darilyn, that is so amazing! I love how the race wasn’t timed… that must have been such a fun and stress-free race! What a great accomplishment! Congrats! ::virtual hug:: ::virtual high five::

I was just looking to buy a bento box! The little bag under my seat doesn’t hold everything I need it to.

I have sprint race in June and my first open water sprint in August. I’m excited! This is my first season and I love the sport! Thanks for the opportunity.

I’m doing a sprint in 2 weeks! Brrr…it is still cold here! But I’m excited and planning to do 2 more sprints – 1 in July and 1 in August.

Our race this weekend was rainy and 50 degrees… brrr! A jacket on the bike, arm warmers and I filled a bike water bottle with hot water and held onto it before the race. It felt SO GOOD to rinse my feet off with that warm water after the swim! Hope you stay warm and keep smiling!

I’m signed up for my first tri in August, but I’m looking around for something before then if possible. I’d love to win the bento box as the little bag under my seat doesn’t seem to be able to hold enough.

I’m doing my first Olympic distance tri in Ogallala, NE in July. Kinda nervous ’cause there’s a huge hill we repeat 3 times on the bike.
